Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tree was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Veloptima learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has worked as a Sage like her father before her.
