Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Leaf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in a small plains village. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Apothecary but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: She is a pot bellied northern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears tattered old clothes. Her silver hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. A true patriot, Oolah would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Oolah was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after Oolah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Oolah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Tawar was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tawar decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
