History: Duvamil was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
