History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Thervan was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Stableman. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a green collared shirt and black skirt. She accessorizes with a blue scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. She keeps her long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. Her fierce gold eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Purah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Purah. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her red eyes.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born in the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: 5'0" and muscular, this western woman wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Detective business.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
