History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Delre was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Crown-heir and was forced into it by her family; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
