Personality: She is a Miner first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ulla never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Nim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'7" when asserting herself. Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
