History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Aust reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Born to a Mayor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her brother.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Daar was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Daar's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.
