History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born into a rich family. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency.
