Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: Merla hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and doesn't want to be a butcher and was forced into it by her family
