History: He was born into a rich family. After coming to the age of reason, Gale took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Ratlûg was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
