History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Heian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born in the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Map Maker like her father before her.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When Kilia reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Balimaar was born with his mother's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Gardener for the past few years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world
