Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for her, and Marigold does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Navigator, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
