History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nybarg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Trail isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tabaxi unity. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and regain custody of her son

Personality: She is mildly Half-Orc supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
