History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Brakka does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
