History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions
