Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has wavy brown hair. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Fabien was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He wears a red vest and prefers brown and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He carries a battered quarterstaff and tarnished pickaxe as well. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Jak took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He bought a pickaxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her auburn hair is long and unkept. Her eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Whurdred embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Whurdred was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Layabout. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and money/treasure

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she has money and likes to spend it
