History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Baker, Maagog learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He prefers to carry a longsword, but if one is not available he will default to his spear, and he perpetually has his spear ready. He has golden hair. Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gomory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and wants to raise her children well
