History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. After coming to the age of reason, Laucian took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her hair is chestnut and curly. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Verin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her parents enrolled her in a Commoner school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: She dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a black coat with pastel slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'3" when asserting herself. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and money/treasure

Description: She tends to wear a yellow poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her hair is golden and curly. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Recently the stress of being a Barrister has made it difficult for her to sleep.
