History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Phelaia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Phelaia. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Faral hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Maagog's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Maagog does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Maagog was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Eggren was born with her mother's beautiful face. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
