History: Volen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born in the north. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gillyd fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Pyra was born with her father's beautiful face. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Outside of the suit she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her ears are large.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
