History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Egelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 2'11" when asserting herself. Her red hair is still thick. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she typically wears violet cloth garments or leather armor. Her brown hair is smooth and relatively long. Her hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ielenia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Halfling compassion.

Description: This southern man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Butcher. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Veit was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He became a Butcher soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business
