Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her blue hair is singed and shortened. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She comes from a rich western family. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Bryseis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has moderate length red hair. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Her right side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears dull blue sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed ceremonial dagger, just in case. Her long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her ears are large.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Elf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Gesrethe enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gesrethe was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.
