History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She worked as a nervous Doctor and found it very stressful. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Description: She wears baggy blue pantaloons and a black scarf. She carries with her a set of scythes on her belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. She sports a flattop hair cut. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. She wears skinny pants and wears a tan and brown robe with the hood down. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her white hair is heavily combed to the right. Her brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Maiathah is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and wants to raise her children well

Description: An older man who wears tattered old clothes, he is not a threatening figure. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'10" when asserting himself. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and he has money and likes to spend it
