Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Guard mother left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. A true patriot, Emmeline would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
