His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Eloise alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against orcs
