Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thervan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He bought a pickaxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. She keeps her long lavender fur kept up in a rat tail. Her blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cask embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She wears a green cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her purple hair has been sun bleached extensively. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was taken from her home at a very young age. After a long history of fighting, Anakis and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and her religion dominates her actions
