He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Pearl's homeland. Pearl decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dagger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
