History: Gifted from a young age, Ilde studied abroad. When Ilde reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ilde never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Egelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
