Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Efferil was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Efferil's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Efferil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Adelard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in the east to a Mason, Adelard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Carter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her white hair is knotted and matted. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
