Her father taught her the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for her, and Oriel does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Oriel was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new crown-heir responsibilities is difficult
