History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Vadania took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
