Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Baz was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her pickaxe with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and a wedding ring on her left hand. She has a very tight haircut. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Valanthe never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Carter and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Audhild hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
