History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

History: Donaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
