History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Shadow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Shadow was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Vanuath was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
