Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She takes great joy in being the best Herbalist in town.

History: Valida was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
