Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lia embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Lia hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. She has achieved small success as a Gardener.

Description: A 5'9" northern man, he wears tattered old clothes. His brown hair is heavily combed to the left. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: This younger middle-aged man prefers to wear flannel, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peter grew up listening to his father's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Peter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 3'4" and wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Cumpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She wears a deerstalker hat to cover her moderate length chestnut hair. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is mildly Elf supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Caelynn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others
