Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Hethress was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Mijira lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Miller, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tree embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a Blacksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sailor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
