Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Heather enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heather was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: Gifted from a young age, Eberdeb studied abroad. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Assassin, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well
