History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

She has worked as a Slave Trader like her mother before her.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Olivia liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Akta alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
