Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Silent was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is greedy

Description: 5'7" and muscular, this western man dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the left. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born to a Assassin, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: Standing 5'2", this woman wears tattered old clothes. Her chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
