Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 3'5" and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Description: He wears a simple pastel robe with grey stripes complete with hood. He carries a battered falchion and tarnished kukri as well. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Shadow lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shadow fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she's looking for her big break
