One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Jabbie hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Jabbie was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants revenge against brigands

The war was a terrible time for him, and Cairn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Cairn's homeland. History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
