His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raer was born with his father's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and revenge

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.
