History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Farideh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Spear embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. The war was a terrible time for him, and Spear does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the south. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears baggy blue pantaloons and a white scarf. With wild white hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jelenneth grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a ruler again

Description: This dark-skinned female wears a yellow costume with the symbols of her god on her torso. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is silver and curly. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around her ears. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is greedy
