History: Oskar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: Mella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Balimaar was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

He likes to tell stories.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
