He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Animal Trainer, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Theren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
