History: Gardain hails from a village terrorized by giants. Gardain liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has worked as a Shipwright like his mother before him.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a animal trainer and was forced into it by his family

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
