History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Faran took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Nija lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Weaver, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Body Guard, and she later adopted a second son.

Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she seems to be bored by most things
