Through the years after Shava was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shava's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Skamos took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Skamos and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Helgret never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to work out more often

He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
