History: Norman lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has a hunchback. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to end his boredom

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady black eyes.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for her, and Purah does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Astaro hails from a village terrorized by giants. A freak accident while working with her Crown-heir mother left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Astaro and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Rurik was taken on many hunting expeditions. His first spouse was a Barber, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stylist and was forced into it by his family.
